Manafort and his associate, Rick Gates, have been ordered to turn themselves in. At this point, the only allegation I have heard is "tax fraud".
Interestingly, I would bet that every taxpayer in the US is guilty of tax fraud, whether they know it or not. More interestingly, they can find this on Manafort, but nothing on Hillary Clinton? I guarantee that she has committed tax fraud, and that's the lesser of her crimes.

I haven't looked at the usual MSM sources yet. I would assume they'll have a much different spin than Fox.

Because we like his agenda and his administration is getting more stuff done than any of the recent "well spoken" Republicans who came before him. Yeah, he runs his mouth, but when it comes down to it, that crap is insignificant and I don't freaking care.

That's why people are backing him. The election is over. He's the president. As impeachment is rare, anything that hurts him increases our chance of getting another Democratic president in 2020.

At a certain point, don’t we have to wonder whether the people with access to the relevant information have decided they are better served by innuendo than disclosure?

This. Remember that everyone, especially in the liberal bubble, thought that Trump would be the easiest of the 17 R's, that entered the Presidential race, for Hillary to beat.
Then he actually won. We've all witnessed the absolute meltdown of the left. Especially from the MSM. They have been bound and determined since 9 Nov 2016 to bring down the Pretender Trump, and install the rightful President Hillary "It's MY Turn" Cllinton on the throne.

The MSM would be screaming for a Special Counsel to investigate "The Covfefe Incident". Luis Gutierrez (D- Chicago's Hispanic Neighborhoods). is going to file Articles of Impeachment after the of the year. Trump's alleged crimes ?? Being a poopy head.
They are screaming the loudest just so they seem to be "larger" then they actually are. Their goal is to cripple Trump, like they did to Bush, so that the legislation which his supporters want, will be DOA. If the R's would grow a backbone, like Trump has, and stop trying to being liked by the "cool kids" of the MSM, and just say damn the torpedoes, full speed ahead, they could have a solid majority for years to come. But they are willing to fold like a cheap suit and are going to be wondering why they got shellacked in 2018.

It can't get any worse than it is, and nothing Mueller comes up with is likely to change any minds. Those who hate Trump will continue to hate Trump. Those who welcome Trump as an antidote to uncontrolled, rampant liberalism will continue to chortle over the way he gets the liberals' knickers all twisted up. It's either a black cloud, or a gold merit badge. Take your pick.

I was just listening to Rush. He said a bunch of internet company leaders were testifying in D.C. One of them apparently mentioned the amount of money the Russians spent was thousands not millions and it was only internet ads after the election drumming up support for some of these rallies. That would mean all the Russian involvement was squarely on the Hillary Clinton/Democrat side.

Rush also mentioned that he believes all the polling about Trump's popularity is a lie. He said he is beginning to suspect that the level of fake news and media manipulation going on is well beyond anything anyone previously suspected. For me, I don't believe the Trump polling. I don't know if I believe the country is that polarized either. If it is, it is solely based on personality. Few report on or pay attention to individual issues anymore. All the news is about the personalities.

That's how I would do it. It would be a lot easier to crack someone that doesn't have quite the ego that President Trump has. Once they're cracked, the media shitstorm will do the rest. At this point I doubt the "crimes" would even have to be real. Accusations seem to be enough to wreck people.
