An Australian cafe charges an 18% "man tax" for equality or something. It's apparently "voluntary" other than from the article, they automatically include it and the man has to ask for a revised receipt if he doesn't want to pay the "tax".
Private business, so they can do what they want, and I suppose it creates the kind of neanderthal-free clientele they prefer to serve. Still, give it a rest SJWs.

Gee. I guess sustaining 91% of all workplace deaths isn't enough of a "tax" for the feminazis.

I've got a tip for them right here.

Just the tip and only for a minute.

Makes me want to walk in and insist on an 18% discount, while carrying a load of information about how men have it worse than women.
Little things like drastically more likely to be murdered, a life expectancy a decade lower, subject to involuntary labor in the form of the draft, etc...

Since the house rules start off by stating that it's "a space by women, for women," the man tax shouldn't be an issue because no self respecting Australian man would even enter.
But then we get to rule #3: "Respect goes both ways." So their twisted version of mutual respect is to impose a blatantly discriminatory surcharge on one gender only ... while demanding respect. I think they are unclear on the concept of what "respect" entails.
Here's hoping Chopper pays them a visit. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=unkIVvjZc9Y (NSFW)

Do they go off just by how you look? That could be fun. >:D

Heh, yeah. :)
Would a Mx just get taxed at 9%?

Just a reminder that tipping is pretty much unknown in Australia.

I didn't know that but, even if tipping was the norm, the term "tip" is supposed to be an acronym for "To Improve Service" -- in other words, an incentive for servers to be nice to customers. I certainly wouldn't feel inclined to add a tip to a bill on which I'm being gouged an 18 percent surcharge based purely on a factor of birth and gender over which I had no control.

"To Improve Service"
Or...
To Insure Prompt Service
Supposedly both are facetious after-the-fact creations.

Just tell them you identify as a woman and get all self righteous and indigent when they assume your gender.....Hilarity will ensue.
All though the chances of me going to a "Vegan Cafe" border on extremely drunk and no.

Is it "supposed" to be derived from a language or alphabet where "service" starts with a "P"?

Picky, picky, picky.
