Pretty good article.

I wonder what the final take in of firearms were for the APD?  Seems the line was rather decent in size whenever the camera showed them in the background.

It was obvious that the Chief wasn't a fan of the filming crew......LOL

Austin PD, like Texas' Dept of Public Safety, has a history of being anti RKBA.  Both fought changing the law and allowing CCW back in 1995 and continue to voice displeasure every time the Legislature brings up a pro-gun bill.  But so does SAPD where I am.  :facepalm:

Local network affiliate news stations made mention of the citizen intervention, and they actually did so in a neutral manner. (No video, though.)
