So don't pay thousands of dollars to be put under general anesthesia and given Narcan for several hours. This method of opiate detox works no better than other methods and people have died from it.

well... DUH!

Why do I think that implementing this had more to do with a business/marketing team than a medical panel? Somehow I can't see an already stressed out anesthesiologist coming up with this idea...

It is much more powerful to seek Truth for one's self.  Seeing and hearing that others seem to have found it can be a motivation.  With me, I was drawn because of much error and bad judgment on my part. Confronting one's own errors and bad judgment is a very life altering situation.  Confronting the errors and bad judgment of others is usually hypocrisy.
