na na nana na, na na nana na !

twenty five or twenty six till four AM

3:35 AM or 3:34 AM

Waiting for the break of day
Searching for something to say
Flashing lights against the sky
Giving up I close my eyes
Sitting cross-legged on the floor
25 or 6 to 4

Staring blindly into space
Getting up to splash my face
Wanting just to stay awake
Wondering how much I can take
Should I try to do some more
25 or 6 to 4

Feeling like I ought to sleep
Spinning room is sinking deep
Searching for something to say
Waiting for the break of day
25 or 6 to 4
25 or 6 to 4

Old fart that I am, I immediately recognized the lyrics. But only the "25 or 6 to 4". Couldn't remember the reat or the group, for sure. Recall the melody....

Haven't looked @ youtube link yet.

Kinda thinking Blood, Sweat & Tears, eh?

Funny, but I have a much deeper for "Classic Rock" as I've matured. Had a work partner years ago that helped introduce me to what I missed in my sheltered youth, ah, musically speaking, of course.

Stay safe.

I've actually fired one of those.

Not a lot of fun, but you probably wouldn't notice the pain in a defensive situation, regardless.

I asked about that on THR years ago. Tamara assured me it was liveable with moderate loads. I'm not a recoil junkie, but I'd like to give it a try.

As long as you mean the original version of the song, I really don't care.

Though the music video from the abortion of a remake from Chicago 18 was interesting.

The best usage of the phrase 25 or 624 is in the song "Existential Blues".  It's here, about 30 seconds in:

EARLY Chicago... I've got a video somewhere of 'em BEFORE they had a horn section!

Oh, and they were the first "real" arena concert I went to, at Freedom Hall in Louisville... 1976, when they still rocked.
