This is a rumour I have seen popping up a couple of places in the InterTubez, namely that NeoNazis and White Power types are showing up at conservo-libertarian events. Of course the rumour is self-feeding, because once liberal hear it it reinforces the stereotype they have of conservo-liberatarians who are stridently anti-socialist.
The latest manifestation seems to be Nancy Pelosi, whom I suspect saw a Gadsden flag and mistook it for a Swastika.

So I want to know. Those of you who have gone to these events, have you seen any of these types? Furthermore, if you do see them, what would you do to get rid of the fascist basterds?
Furthermore it would not surprise me if the folks who DID show up openly displaying hate symbols are merely agents provocateurs there to steal camera time from the precious business of protecting liberty.

Why not? After all, nazis are "National Socialists."
Several months ago, one of the comics in the newspaper ran a panel in which a guy decked out in Klan robes was holding up a sign that read "WILL ENDORSE YOUR OPPONENT FOR MONEY."
So this sort of thing is not a new idea.
It wouldn't surprise me at all if democRAT operatives were planning to disrupt & discredit these grass-roots protests by sending in some agents provocateur.

Not at the tea parties and protests around here...they'd probably be shot. We had a lot of vets at the rally, so you can imagine how well somebody with a swastika would go. And I don't think the cops would be too quick in their response, even though we were at the courthouse, beside the PD and the SD.

Close. The tactic is to actually attack the argument with accusations of things that are considered bad.
Don't like healthcare reform? You must want to see poor people die.
Want voters to actually prove who they are? Racisit!

I've not seen any swastikas at any of these sorts of events. I really, really doubt they'd be welcome there. I suspect the rumors of swastikas are entirely fabricated.
I wouldn't put it past groups like Acorn to pose as neonazis and attend these events, with the media alerted ahead of time for maximum affect.

Sorry, I disagree. It goes beyond that. The Left is fascist, which is why they are so ready to accuse the other side of that. If we keep ascribing well-meaningness to the people in power, we will defeat our own cause, which I presume remains liberty. The fact is they will do anything to win. Anything.

I've seen blacks and Sikhs at Tea Parties, but no swastikas.
Still, it's perfectly understandable that white power goons would show up at events that are seen as anti-Obama. We can kick them out, once we see them, but that won't stop them from unfurling their freak flag long enough to get in the news.

I think we are at a point where most of the people who are "in rebellion" really no longer care what the mainstream media and the leftists organs have to say about what they think, say, and do. The MSM has been unmasked as fakes, fraud, and liars, guilty on a daily basis of misinformation and outright disinformation. There are now two media worlds, just as there are "two Americas." (And this is why you can still expect the Obama admin to crack down on talk radio and, if they can, the internet too.)

Okay, I've been watching this in the news for a few days now, and not even MSNBC can come up with proof of swastikas at the events. All the images I've seen are of people holding up signs with swastikas that have a red circle and slash through them stating, "no to fascism", i.e., anti-swastika signs.
Unlike the MANY protest signs I saw from anti-Bush rallies where every other protester carried a sign with a swastika and "Bush=Hitler" written on it. Where was Pelosi back then?

IF there was one swastika at one of these meetings it would have been photographed from every angle by all of Obama's media outlets, and Obama's media outlets would be broadcasting the photos 24 hours a day, 7days a week.

The sad thing is that my first reaction is that his supporters put it on there to drum up sympathy.
I have absolutely no trust in the "good intentions" of those pushing this crap.

I show that to my wife all the time. I keep telling her that the local bar has different settings on the bull for females. Their 10 isn't a real man's ten. She usually uses a slap on the back of my head to disagree. :laugh:
But back on track. I think it's highly likely we could see some seeded protesters who will make the conservatives look bad. Of course, any protest brings out the fringe (from both sides), so it's only a matter of time before someone with a different message will use it as forum. It doesn't have to be a liberal doing it. It may be a person who identifies with the message and thinks his message furthers the cause. There are loonies on both sides of the spectrum.
