I have no moral or ethical problems with what the victims did.
I do however fully understand the potential legal implications of such actions in the US.

my inner "bad guy" would never use a gun to hurt someone in anger when its much easier to accidentally
hit with a car.

Another lesson from this is there are cameras everywhere. Not sure what to do about that, but assume you are on camera if you are on a public street.

I feel guilty for chuckling, its funny to see common robbers getting a comeuppance but at the same time its unprincipled to delight in such things.
I wonder if they will stop being criminals?
