What days Google celebrates...
« on: June 06, 2008, 09:36:18 AM »
I'd noticed their lack of patriotism before, since they didn't do anything for Memorial Day, either.

Today, they have a tribute to the birthday of painter Diego Velázquez in their logo.

Funny. I thought today was also the anniversary of D-Day.

But then, people I know who have visited Google offices have reported that it's all moonbats and Obamaniacs, so I'm not overly surprised.

Eh, they did. There was a yellow ribbon or summat.

What do you expect from a company that does the Chicom's dirty work for them.

Things like blocking pro-freedom websites, tracking down and passing data on dissident bloggers, etc.

They make the WW2 Swiss policies vis a vis Nazi Germany & Jews almost humane.

Google's Global.

Not just American.

True, but they have over 700 different datacenters worldwide. They could serve up something patriotic on the US servers.

Google's search engine is global, but the company and values are grounded in the U.S.  I would expect that any company that honors Independence Day each year on 4 July would also be able to conjure up some sort of picture for a more international feat of liberty as D-Day.

So have you contacted them about it?

Better tell them to commemorate Iwo Jima, Okinawa, Midway, Guadalcanal, Philippines Liberation, the skipping over of Rabaul, etc.

Google's search engine is global, but the company and values are grounded in the U.S. socialism.

Just needed a small tweak.
