San Fransisco Airport (of all places!) recently had a display of Sci-Fi sidearms. I didn't see it personally, but a friend sent me a phone cam pic when she was connecting through there. Looked pretty cool -- many of the same guns in the above link.

No mention of this one? I've still got all of mine...it's still a nice, sleekly designed gun with a curiously large handgrip that was always seemingly designed for adults!

A functional red-dot sight in...what, 1986? was pretty amazing, actually. Yes, it IS actually a working red-dot, LED reflection type.

They don't list a Z-140 Alleviated titanium neurocharged assault model? bummer.
A plan is just a list of things that doesn't happen.
Is defenestration possible through the overton window?

I'd like a Zorg ZF-1 and an assault phaser.  =D

I think a dressed-up MG42 on a steady-cam arm would be pretty cool...

Colonial Marine "Smartgun"... from Aliens.
I promise not to duck.

More intrestingly, the MArines there still used 1911s and 870s.

Aliens featured old HK VP70s as well, or at least castings of them.
