I understand the only way to make sure they're dead is to microwave them on high for about 3 minutes.

Any caliber will knock them down.  The real trick is getting them into the microwave before they reconsititue and come after your jugular.

my chemistery teacher used to blow them up and shrink them.

never looked at them quite the same since.  :lol:

you can use a pressure chamber to tourtue them for awhile before sticking them in the microwave.  =D
