Take into account the color, the ice, the type of glass, the garnish and how it is all put together.
Please post pics!

Screw beauty, when I want a drink, I want a gin & tonic.

Here are some cocktails that can be called beautiful: http://www.foodandwine.com/slideshows/beautiful-cocktails#day-15-tia-mia
For me, I'm less concerned about looks and more concerned about flavor. My go to is a Vieux Carre: https://punchdrink.com/recipes/vieux-carre/

Nothing more beautiful than whiskey on the rocks. Meaning 2 cubes. And I mean cubes.

Beat me to it. Nothing more elegantly beautiful than a couple (or three) fingers of good whiskey in a simple and classic rocks glass.
While it's fun to drink a colorful drink with an umbrella in it if you're vacationing in a tropical locale or whatever, classic will always win out for me.

Agreed.
A proper old fashioned is a hard cocktail to beat. As is a Manhattan. Both are fetching, and delicious.
Screw the modern foofoo drinks. Give me a good classic.

That looks awesome! There is a restaurant in Newburyport, MA that does a make-your-own Bloody Mary bar on Sundays. They pour the booze, but all of the other ingredients are up to you. Last time I was there, there must have been 20+ options to add to your drink, from celery to bacon, cheeses to cured meats, hot sauces, olives, all kinds of good stuff.

Took me a few seconds.

Dark and stormys look very sexy.

A proper glass and then one's choice of 3 fingers of good Bourbon, or a single malt Scotch, or Irish wisky or best of all Diplomatico Reserva Exclusiva rum...all nice and neat.

Not sure of the name, but it involves Chloe Bennet, Melissa Rauch, rubber sheets, a quart each of Ashanti Gold and Kahlua and some whipped cream.

Chloe Bennet, Melissa Rauch
Is that the best you can come up with?

With liquor, yes. A kiddie pool full of blackberry jello is different, however.
