Any meatloaf fans here?

Buddy of mine came into town the other day, and for old times sake we retreated to my basement studio to record some muuuusak.

Chose Bat out of Hell as a cover song.

Rough, not mixed yet, and still missing background vocals. I'm on guitar, bass, drum sequencing. Paul singing and did the acoustic part (which i also need to replace and clean up.)

Anywho... was good to play again.

Dude..  that is awesome.  I just downloaded it and am sticking it in my MP3 player.

Yes..  I haven't listened to the whole thing yet..  2 min in and it is like a 10 min song!

Will do.  The song is sort of like a punk cover of Meat Loaf and I'm kind of a sucker for well done punk covers.

I am disappoint.  I thought this was going to be a thread in praise of the ground meat product.  Which I enjoy.

I loved it, right to when your amigo started to sing. Too fast -- lost all sense of timing. Needs to be slowed down at least 25 percent. He sounded like he was trying to fit 60 seconds worth of vocal into 40 seconds of time.

I agree with this, but overall it was awesome.

I can mix down an MP3, but m4a files should be playable in other things.

EDIT: just saw your next post about quicktime.

I may have found a band i'm interested in joining... they're musical genre isn't my favorite, but they're good guys who have a good time on stage... that's enough for me.

I was thinking the only time I really liked Meatloaf was when they cut him up with a chainsaw and served him for dinner. Or was it an axe? I can't remember anymore...  :P
