Officer Investigated for Warning Citizen About Bad Part of Town

Took a wrong turn in Houston just the other day, thanks to my wife's amazing GPS programming skillz  .....
The difference between getting lost in Houston and getting lost in DC?  I had a 1911 in the console and a P3AT in my waist.
 

I immediately recognized that it wasn't a great place to be.  Funny thing is that we were meeting an old friend of the wife's and her husband, who turned out to be a US Marshal.  We chatted about the wrong turn and he told me what happens to that 'hood after dark...    Said even they will just run the reds when driving through there.
