Yikes! That falls into the, "I wouldn't have believed it if I hadn't seen it with my own eyes", category.
If there really was intelligent life on other planets, we'd be sending them foreign aid.

Conservatives see George Orwell's "1984" as a cautionary tale.  Progressives view it as a "how to" manual.

My wife often says to me, "You are evil and must be destroyed." She may be right.

Liberals believe one should never let reason, logic and facts get in the way of a good emotional argument.

Gotta wonder why that fence existed in the first place- it doesn't look there are too many solid objects that a car can hit if it went off the road...

I have fallen asleep at the wheel twice in my 23 years. The first time their should have been bits of Toyota all over western NC but I woke up about a half second before we hit the guard rail.

Second time I was all the way on the shoulder before I woke up. Nothing keeping me from rolling right up the bank and flipping the car over.

There's no doubt in my mind that my guardian angels get combat pay.

Drainage ditch in the median. It'll roll a car depending on how fast you're going.

And cars on the service road.

And cars on the service road.

Dig the ditch a bit steeper and it'll solve that problem.  This is part of why I'd like to see the rumble strips go away; they tend to keep drifting drivers barely on the road, rather than letting them run off into a nice inanimate object right away before they hurt someone.

The driver left Washington early that morning on his way to Idaho.

He "fell asleep" as he was approaching Deer Lodge, Mt.  ;/

He must have been asleep long before that - he drove over 200 miles past Idaho  :O

Imagine the "Oh ****" moment when he woke up after the initial impact, and had 30 yards of guardrail whipping past him INSIDE the suburban.....  I have to imagine that was a somewhat surreal moment..........

yea  that hadda  have a pucker factor   bet his nickname is lucky
It is much more powerful to seek Truth for one's self.  Seeing and hearing that others seem to have found it can be a motivation.  With me, I was drawn because of much error and bad judgment on my part. Confronting one's own errors and bad judgment is a very life altering situation.  Confronting the errors and bad judgment of others is usually hypocrisy.

I'm guessing his nickname is Droopy or Sleepy.
I wish the Ring had never come to me. I wish none of this had happened.

So do all who live to see such times. But that is not for them to decide. All we have to decide is what to do with the time that is given to us. There are other forces at work in this world, Frodo, besides the will of evil. Bilbo was meant to find the Ring. In which case, you also were meant to have it. And that is an encouraging thought

I must be thinking about this all wrong. In my AO, we only have those fences to protect bridges and waterways. I guess the trees here are for stopping wayward hehicles.

Doesn't look like it pierced the engine block to me  =|

But I bet that car is going to need a new heater core  ;)
