We have a five year old Maytag Maxima front loading washing machine. Recently, the detergent dispenser drawer has been sticking. I took it out and cleaned the compartment and the drawer parts of the mineral buildup from the well water.
This has not really helped the sticking. My wife called me into the laundry room to point out that she could not slide it back into the compartment. I was able to work it in, but I am afraid it is going to break if forced.
Googling did not help much. Does the Collective have any ideas on how to fix the sticking detergent dispenser drawer?
PS: I should point out that we use only liquid detergent, so there is no possibility of any powder build up anywhere.
