Bacon wins out over detcord.  But detcord can be used to obtain bacon from the mess hall.

I have enjoyed the benefits of bacon many times.   I've never been able to enjoy any of the benefits of detcord.

Detcord can be used to threaten people to give you bacon, or to gain entry to locations where there is bacon.

Back to original question. If done properly you can make bacon with the use of detcord but you can never make detcord from bacon. So, detcord for the win. ;)

Not so fast, not so fast...

Bacon fat contains glycerine, which is an important component in explosives....

As for using det cord to make bacon?

It will taste weird. And you'll have to scrape it off... everything.
