thats a stop motion from either an edited 1 minute video or a bunch of still frames

Its pretty easy to do in Final Cut Pro, it might take an hour or so

Found out the song. It's "Wizards In Winter" by Trans-Siberian Railroad. It's from the "Last Christmas Eve" album. Listened to the song tidbits on the Circuit City website. Like it. Gonna pick up a copy on the way home.

I realized what it was later. It didn't dawn on me right away. I've somewhat "worked" an automated light board a few times. The thing would not only control the lights etc but also the aiming position of the lights on 3 axis. Just trying to read through the manual was enough to fog my brain...

I saw one of these a few years back where some guy built all the lighting control modules himself. Awesome computer engineering project, I'd love to tackle somethign like that. I was much less impressed when I saw that this guy just bought hardware to do it. Still cool though.
