Actually I took the opportunity to upgrade to a newer version of SMF.  Or I thought I did -- footer still says 1.1RC43...

If things are slower I'll look into it once I get some statistics to dig through.  Haven't even started tweaking the server for performance yet.

Paul Frank designs clothing for the tween set. that being said, its rather disconcerting to see it used as an avator for a (presumably) male person, considering that i've only seen it on girl's t-shirts, purses and undies.

This is a mostly-male site, so I doubt it will matter.  On the other hand, I was hoping to find a better image out there, so I'll likely be changing it, anyway.
