The high court on Monday rejected a request by the Lehigh County District Attorney’s Office to review a Pennsylvania Supreme Court decision throwing out its case against a man stopped by Allentown police after a camera operator spotted him tucking a revolver in his waistband outside a gas station.
Apparently the guy was caught on camera tucking a pistol into his pocket when he exited his vehicle.  Police showed up and detained him based solely on "He's Got a Gun!!".  He had a permit for conceal carry and was perfectly legal.  The conviction was for drunk driving.  They never said if they had proof he was drunk.

There are a number of quotes like this from local officials carrying on about how they can't oppress people now.  How dare they be required to show cause!  I think the victim's lawyer declined to comment.

If the decision were permitted to stand, the district attorney’s office said in its brief, officers would be required to show that a person concealing a weapon was involved in a crime. To wait for criminal activity to occur, perhaps at the expense of innocent bystanders, would be unreasonable, the brief said.

I did a search for Lehigh County to see if this was posted.  I came up with these two links.  I guess this isn't the first time anti-gunners were active there.   =D
