GOP Senators Want Answers on Amnesty Memo

Senator obtains ICE memo on different ways the administration can legalize mass amounts of illegals with out having to have congress do anything.  Apparently there where rumors about this in June and several Senators wrote a letter the Obama and are still waiting for a reply.  They have also written another letter in July after this came to light and are still awaiting a reply.


This is a very, very slippery slope that we are heading down.  What else will the administration try to do without the proper checks and balances.   If he ever does that, I believe it will be the proverbial straw that broke the camels back.

This is the kind of thing where rational folks say, "Naw, that's crazy, he wouldn't."  But rational folks living in an increasingly irrational times can no longer place winning bets on rationality.

Yeah, if they were rational the memo would have gone something akin to "stop being stupid and trying to usurp congress' authority" instead of, you know, actually giving some ideas on how to usurp congress' authority.

Silly peasants.  First, Congress commits an un-constitutional act by passing Health Care. Obama just plans on following suit and passing Amnesty through his office.  Bow and scrape now.

I'm gonna say that it won't happen but that doesn't mean it couldn't. If the memo is real, the fact that it even crossed someone's desk in writing is very disturbing.

One has to marvel at the hauteur of this bunch in D.C.  We really have a bubble-wrapped Federal government.  If they do this, talk radio and the blogs and Fox will be all over it, and there will, without doubt, be more than a little hurly-burly.  Of course, some of this believe that this is exactly what the current admin wants.  The Obama people really believe they have a golden light around them.
