Favorite YouTube channels
« on: July 05, 2013, 08:41:22 AM »
I've seen a few threads and replies over the last few days about favorite/subscribed YouTube channels.   I have recently become (slightly) addicted to a few YouTube channels and now have a modest dozen or so subscribed channels.     I'm just wondering how many good ones I was missing?
To get this started, I'll post a list of my current subscribed channels:

Keith Fenner
-machinist, runs an old-school job shop in Cape Cod.  Great videos, some that are HOURS long (in multiple parts)
EricTheCarGuy
-auto mechanic, excellent quality videos.  Very informative
doubleboost
-machinist/hobbyist, built a jet powered go-cart.   From England.   A bit hard to get used to the accent, but fun videos.
ETCG1
-same guy as EricTheCarGuy above, more conversational/car repair business-related videos
numberphile
-A Brady Haran channel, discussions on numbers and mathematical um.. stuff..   A lot is WAY above my head, but I still find it fascinating.
periodicvideos
-Another Brady Haran channel, most of them featuring elements from the periodic table.  (hence the name!)   The crazy-haired professor is a hoot!
gloveandboots
-Kind of a YouTube muppets channel.   Found them by accident and can't wait for their next video.  Thor is a RIOT.   So is Johnny T!
AgentJayZ
-Jet engine mechanic from Canada.    LOTS of very interesting (to me, anyway) stuff about turbine engines.
Ben Krasnow
-Overall super genius.   Multiple topics, from hybrid jet engines to automatic cookie machines to x-ray machines. Guy makes his own aerogel!
FUNKER530
-Iraq and Afganistan combat videos.   Lots of helmet cams.
JustPlanes
  -um.. planes.
sixtysymbols
-Brady Haran again.    Physics and Astronomy.
SmarterEveryDay
-Dustin makes great videos, and I always learn someting from each one.   How does a helicopter work, underwater slow-mo pistol and rifle videos...
Computerphile
-Brad Haran - Same vein as his other channels, just with a computer focus.

Your turn..

I've got about 30 channels subscribed, some aren't particularly active though or I'm prone to skipping them unless I'm in the mood. So just sticking to the ones that are reasonably active and that I generally watch whenever I see they have a new video up.

Guns, most of these are primarily channels focused around shooting and some info-
22 Plinkster
BigShooterist
eNo's Armory
FateofDestinee
Hickok45
Iraqveteran8888, more info and commentary than shooting
MadOgre
MidwayUSA, lots of gunsmithing clips
Military Arms Channel
theARMORYchannel

Non-gun stuff
Nighthawkinlight , tinkering and fun projects
SmarterEveryDay
ThePatriotNurse
Wranglerstar Homesteading prepper with videos of projects/how to/general life on the homestead.

That is all. *expletive deleted*ck you all, eat *expletive deleted*it, and die in a fire. I have considered writing here a long parting section dedicated to each poster, but I have decided, at length, against it. *expletive deleted*ck you all and Hail Satan.
