The problem, IMO, if that you are way, way too caught up in PARTY instead of the CANDIDATES.  None of you can vote for or against every Repub or Democrat out there.  You would be better served at taking a deep look at your own candidates and deciding if they are any good or not.  Not all republicans are evil McCain wannabes.

Why do you want a "Clean Sweep"?  Do you really think all the challengers in every election are good and new people?  Do you think a clean sweep would improve anything?  IMO, while we have a Democrat in the White House, you are better served by putting Republicans in charge in the Congress.  If you really think they are all bad, then vote for split govt so at least they will fight each other.

On the other side of this discussion, you get the candidates you deserve.  If you really want to put a voice in to change it, get active in local politics yourself, find a candidate you do like and work for their campaign to help them get elected.  If all you are doing is sitting at home complaining, your complaints aren't worth much.  The special interests and nutters all get out and help their candidates.  If you want to combat that, you have to do the same.

Yeah, but that sounds like a whole lot of time and effort spent researching candidates.  Phooey!
