I posted this in the Israeli thread, but am curious how an AEB system handles this:

I couldn't identify the car to look up if it had one or not.

That is a 2021-2023 Toyota Camry SE.

Per here: https://www.captoyota.com/blog/2023/may/9/advanced-2023-toyota-camry-safety-features.htm it should have auto braking.

I think I read that Japan has required the system for several years now.

Huh. Never heard of Generation Jones before, but looks like... I'm Generation Jones. Also Gen X.

But I never liked the Banana Splits. Or HR Puffinstuff.

I couldn't stand those shows either. Also thought Scooby-Doo was idiotic.  Roadrunner, old Loony Toons, and Tom & Jerry were more up my alley.

Not enough information to know if he accidentally turned down the wrong street or planned on confronting protestors:

My only question is the bear spray, which someone might have been carrying to attack protestors, or that someone might have been carrying because it's Portland.

The "We the People" I will not even consider, because I'm sick of these aholes equating the Constitution, flag, and anything even slightly patriotic as "extremism and domestic terrorism". That *expletive deleted*it needs to stop, and if hippies need to die to stop it, FAFO. This is all getting out of control.

So she was expecting to be trapped in a hot car for only 24 minutes?

It said it would take 4x15 minutes

Take a .50 BMG or a 20MM and make some of those blue CCI shot holders for them and fill them with some #4.

Pro tip: Do not update your Teslas's software while sitting in a parking lot in the hot sun.
Then says she was stuck in the car the whole time despite them having manual door handles.

Quote
A Tesla owner was left horrified after she got stuck in her Tesla when she tried to update the car's system in a Chic-Fil-A parking lot.

Brianna Janel expected the software update to take 24 minutes but she was trapped inside her vehicle in Costa Mesa, California for close to 40 minutes last month.

She complained it was 103 degrees in the Tesla and was concerned she might run out of air as she was unable to roll down the windows.

Janel posted a video of her ordeal on TikTok where it has been viewed almost 30 million times.

Tesla does have manual door releases which are designed to be used when the vehicle has no power but she decided to wait in case she damaged her car.
