Title: Voting in primaries
Post by: jefnvk on December 17, 2007, 04:36:36 PM
Ok, how do I do it?  I've been all over the GOP site, and I cannot find any directions on how to do so.  I've heard lots of things, gotta be registered as GOP/Dem, can't do by absentee, etc, ubt does anyone have any hard list of requirements?

I'll presume you're in Michigan......

Here's a good place to start.

I like the Texas system:  You can vote in either party's primary.  The only restriction is that you can't switch parties to vote in a primary runoff of the other party.  Then, come the general election, vote however you want.

Since a Zogby poll claimed that Hillary would be a likely loser to a Republican, with Obama and Edwards as possible winners, I'll vote for Hillary in the Dem primary and hope she gets the Dem nomiation.
