Title: I just realized who Obama would make Secretary of Defense...Merrill McPeak

The guy currently serving as an Obama campaign co-chair.

General (ret) and former AF Chief of Staff Merrill McPeak.

If you know anything about the guy...I know a little (and it's not good!) but I think any AF veterans could probably speak about him from experience.

Our abbreviation for Total Quality Management was "To Quote McPeak".

Gawd, and to think I'd forgotten all about that touchy feely, turn us all into Japanese assembly line workers BS.
He retired a month after I did. I just figured he thought he had made my life suck enough that his job was done.

Never did like McPeak.

You'll never hear me call him "sir" or "General".
