Title: Did Obama change his "change" message?
Post by: Monkeyleg on September 15, 2008, 01:10:39 PM
I happened to see an Obama ad, and noticed that it said "real change we can believe in." If memory serves me correctly, his slogan had been "change we can believe in."

If the change has changed to "real change," does this mean that the former change wasn't really change? If the change is unchanged, why would they need to change the change message? And what is real change compared to regular change? Is real change unchanged change?

I noticed that too.  If I had anything to to with the GOP campaign my next banner behind Mc/Pal would lampoon them big-time.   REAL, REAL, REAL, REAL CHANGE WE CAN BELIEVE IN!   grin

I really hope that his message is real change.

If it were only change, I'd have little hope for our future.

I may consider changing my hopes to really hoping for change.  I hope that someday, hope can change our hopes.
