Everyone has been having a lot of fun with the edit forum profile features on APS the last couple of days.
Unfortunately, it's getting to the point of abuse.
Please get it out of your system now, because tomorrow morning I'm going to lock those features down again, and this time they're going to stay locked at least until we get a full and operational database up and running.
If you are not happy with your name, or with the extra information that you can put under your name, change it now.
Otherwise you'll be stuck with it for awhile.

While it's certainly your choice, you might want to return to Fistful since, for better or worse, you've become a forum fixture. Think of all the poor n00bs who will have no idea who "Fistful" is or why he's a scapegoat. :)

And if it really is necessary, can't a moderator change me back anyway?

This is the error that I get when I try to upload my pic.
The attachments upload directory is not writable. Your attachment or avatar cannot be saved.

OK, you're not going to be able to save your avatar to the server for awhile.
If you want an Avatar picture, you have to find an external host -- photobucket, picturetrail, etc., and link to it from there.

icons are prolly cached in local browsers
the ones that were linked to the old server directory are prolly gone from there
a re upload to this site locale is prolly in order
my avatar is linked to my image database on uploadit.org, so its still happy linking to there from here

I don't allow my browser to save a cache, and I can't see lots of people's avatars either. Can't see mine as well, and I'm hosting it off site.

I lost interest on the book (4th or 5th in the series I think) that was written primarily from a perspective other than Richard and Kahlan's. Wizard's First Rule was one of the best books I've ever read, but he never reached that level again after.

I suppose it is my fault that people are still calling me fistful, even though I have changed my name.
Or maybe I could blame fistful for it.

Goodkind struck me as the Ayn Rand wannabe of fantasy. I liked the series through Faith of the Fallen, and set it aside for awhile. I saw your Koloblicin reference for your image host path and laughed.
I took awhile off from that series after FotF... the following book or two put me to sleep. I just started back in a week or two ago though.
I just finished Chainfire which was okay, and I'm starting in to Phantom now. I picked up the last book on impulse in paperback format the other day. No spoilers please!

Yeah, after FotF the quality really fell off. Chainfire was a bit better, almost as good as the some of the earlier ones. Phantom was about the so-so. The last book felt rushed, and a lot of loose ends were left untied. Goodkind also started to rely heavily on deus ex machina, particularly in the eighth book and in the last book, which really annoys me.
Wizard's First Rule and The Stone of Tears are still two of my favorite books, though.

I have no idea who heir was, though; the avatar is new, so I can't use that as a clue, and the name doesn't seem to be anywhere near what it was before fistful stole all of our base.
