Now what?
What can we do with our reps and such?
Let's not use this as a time to complain, let's figure out how to keep the worst from happening.

Not a big contribution, but I renewed my NRA membership, and my gf will be joining tomorrow.
-
Nyah... It was more like "the conservative right lost."
Be real nice if we could say "the vast majority in the middle won."

Well, let's wait and see if the Republicans turn into a bunch of sniveling whiners like the Dems did when they lost 8 years ago. As for me, election is over, we're at war, time to come back together, rally behind the new President and hope the hell he doesn't screw it up. Let's show the world what we're made of.

I'll say one thing though, just saw a Dem, didn't pay attention to who, say the election is over let's all give Obama the benefit of the doubt and let him govern. My immediate thought was, "Like the Dems did after Bush won? ;/ "
I agree with someone else around here who said, in two years there'll be another election, well have another chance to get some back then. Let them stew in their own juices for the time being.

What good does it to do rally behind someone who will immediately turn tail and retreat? You'll be running the wrong way.

talk is cheap, time will tell.

The "hope the hell he doesn't screw it up" clause covers that.
All we can do is wait and see. Funny, I was talking to a friend just a little while ago about the 61% Obama took here in CT. He says, "I don't understand, everyone I talked to said no way they were voting for Obama. How did he manage 61%?" I had the same experience, nobody I talked to was supporting Mr O and yet... ;/
Funnier still, CT is supposed to be the richest state in the Union, why would the state with the mostest rich people go 61% for the guy who promised to take their money and give it to the poor? It just don't make no sense.

See my sig....now is the time to get the GOP by the short & curlies and bring them back to sanity and conservative ideas....
-
rally behind the new President and hope the hell he doesn't screw it up.
I'll stick with more realistic hopes, like practical time travel and pet dragons.

It was shouted down during the campaign, but now that the election is over, the main topic is indeed about race.
