Post by: Ron on January 20, 2009, 06:12:22 PM
Have we discussed this and I missed it? Can't wait to get busy serving Obama!

"I pledge to be a servant of the President."

"I pledge to be of service to Barack Obama."

Horrifying.  Appalling.  Stomach-turning.  How can anyone say such things, and not know how wrong they are?  ???

Edit:  Dumb question.  I forgot that Barack supporters do not share traditional American views of politics.  :(

They aren't "supporters", they are "followers".  Big difference.

Kids, don't use cocaine.

Not a single brain cell left in Hollywood.  What complete morons. =D

I needed to laugh, especially today.

Some people deserve followers. Obama isn't one of them.

Stupid Ashton whathisname also had an editorial run across the country that was along the same lines.

Pretty pathetic and scary stuff.

Which of them said it? I didn't hear it while viewing.

So everyone is pledging to do things they should have already been doing like being good fathers and mothers to their children and helping the less fortunate?

All beacause Obama is now president?

Well... they're pledging it.

But, like most liberal ideas, it's their intention that counts.

They won't really follow through with it anymore than they did before. It will still be conservatives donating the most time/money to charitable causes.

What we need is some kind of virtual media-nation, or a "matrix" based on Liberal ideals, like "The West Wing" or something where all the liberals who emote, rather than reason, can get their fill 24/7 of change, finding common ground our enemies, wealth distribution, gun control, and class-warfare.

Meanwhile, the rest of us just get on with running the country and our lives. Since the liberals merely need to feel good about what's going on, and aren't saddled with using logic or reason to look at what really is going on, this should be a perfectly suitable solution for everyone.

Enough.

This started out low and went even lower.
