Title: "Gun permit applications up 79% in Georgia" - H'ray!
Post by: Uncle Bubba on February 01, 2009, 09:45:46 AM
Article in the Atlanta Infernal-Constipation today with above slug. Couldn't be happier myself 'though I would that more people were doing it on their own hook rather than doing it because they're worried that before long they won't be able to do it. Ah well, a nod's as good as a wink to a blind bat, eh?

I guess I don't understand part of this.  Do they think someone would shut down concealed carry and not invalidate existing permits?

Or are they just concerned that things might get bad?

I think it's the latter. Atlanta is not exactly a low crime city!
