The AZRedhawk economic stimulus package of 2009 is currently being implemented.
Replacing the solid rear window on my truck with a slider, and ordered a canopy shell for the bed. Truck is gonna be pretty darn cool afterwards. =D
Happy me. Canopy shell dealer dropped their prices about $400 in the last couple months.

No, I'm pretty sure you're doing it wrong. You're supposed to borrow and print a whole lot of money, give it to corporations, then complain when they use it for, ya know, business stuff. Then somewhere there should be a pay-off for ACORN.
Also, your project does not sound very shovel-ready. Maybe go dig or something.

Oh, and I'm paying CA$H. You've heard of the stuff, right?
(Well... debit card. But same thing, right?)

No.. you're supposed to rob a bank.
You're putting the money back into circulation in the local economy, the money gets replaced by the FDIC anyway, increasing the money supply, and security guard and camera companies profit, as do the local police from overtime.
It's win, win, win...

How much for hte camper shell, if you don't mind my asking? & what kind?
-
$1125 for the shell, color matched. Insulated headliner, dome light, clamps and installation included. Brand is "Vision," model is the "Cab-Hi." Never heard of Vision... I think it's a house brand for the dealership I'm going through here. Looks like a rebranded SnugTop, I think.
Couple months ago they wanted about $1600 for the same thing.
Bastard glass installers called up and said they didn't have untinted glass to install the rear slider window. Called the local Dodge dealership and they wanted $800 for their slider kit... I told 'em "hell no!" Auto glass guys wanted about $400, installed price after tax.
Now I've got to find a glass installer that can get me a clear rear slider window. Argh.

Call around to auto salvage (junk yards) lots.

If the bed is entirely enclosed why not just ditch the "rear" window entirely?

Ahh, never mind.

Never mind what? You think it's a bad price?
It seems to be well below what folks were asking 4 months ago when I first started looking.

Carbon Monoxide. Those shells don't always vent very well, and they have a tendency to trap CO.
