don't have one... if it was up to Missoula it would be PBR which would be a crime.
-
What, not "coke" for any of the Southern States?
-
Milk?
-
"Nebraska, drinkin' the Kool-Aid since 1998"
Mines rather boring, milk and sweet tea.
-
Moxie!

-
Grrr, only one state has a decent beverage. Alabama and their fine whiskey. Everyone else has nice healthy BORING "milk". That's lame. I need to lobby for something more impressive.
-
BA Baracus liked milk.
Chris
-
None. We're boring in Colorado.
-
Kentucky. Milk? Boo!
Right answer.

Massachusetts. Cranberry juice. What is it, your period?
-
Water! WTF?
-
Looks like the state dairy boards had a say in a lot of those decisions.

None for Colorado? Feh...
Would have be either Coors beer, or up around Boulder Celestial Seasoning's herbal teas.
-
None. We're boring in Colorado.
'Cause nothin's more exciting than having an official state beverage!
Celestial Seasoning's herbal teas.
I hate that "herbal" crap. It's like muddy water, if it has any taste at all. 'Course we true patriots do enjoy hot tea, so long as it's not from the King's lackeys. =)
-
Nothing for Nevada, but my guess is if we had one it'd involve liquor of some sort...probably whiskey.
-
Muddy hoofprint. =D
-
Tomato juice for Ohio? WTF, man, WTF!!??
Thank God I'm in SC. At least we have tea instead of f***ing MILK. Not as good as Alabama, but not too shabby, either.

Alaska...R&R Whiskey in a Plastic Jug and a half rack of MGD

You've been drinking the wrong stuff then.
Michigan doesn't have one, but it's gotta be water. We've just got so much of the stuff, y'know?
-

On Wikipedia the whiskey is even named! Ha ha

See, that's just wrong. A cold glass of milk is a beautiful thing.

I loves my milk, but sometime you gotta break away from the herd...
-
What if you're not only lactose intolerant, but also allergic to milk? What then? :|
-

Then you better move to one o' them Moxie-drinkin' states. We don't take kindly to folks like that around these here parts.
-
West Virginia should be moonshine.
-
Texas should be either strong, dark-brewed sweet iced tea or Dr. Pepper....
...or, in the hard stuff, Shiner Bock (bleeech :P ) or tequila....
...Texans are not known for their great taste in beers.... =|
-
I was kind of surprised that the Busch family had lobbied to get Budweiser named the official beverage of MO.
I guess it makes sense that AZ doesn't have one. We're an awful lot of desert.
-
Hmm, none for Michigan, but we do have a state tree:

Mmmm, nice healthy water. =D Stay hydrated, America!

What if you're not only lactose intolerant, but also allergic to milk? What then? :|
Then I weep for you...
And pour myself another glass of milk. Mmmmm.....
-
I think Wisconsin should switch from moo juice to Spotted Cow.
Heck, there's still cows involved, after a fashion... =D
-
Texas doesn't have one.
So, I'm going to nominate one:
"Water out of a muddy hoof print."
(Watch True Grit as to why.)
Muddy hoofprint. =D
D'oh, Fistful Savalas beat me to the punch!
What if you're not only lactose intolerant, but also allergic to milk? What then? :|
You are to be pitied.
Meanwhile, I'll go for two scoops of vanilla.
-
Beer should be the Texas state beverage - after all, the most famous last words in Texas, inscribed on many a Texas tombstone, are "Hey Bubba, hold my beer and watch this."
(Milk is Wisconsin's state beverage? What's their state motto? Smell Our Dairy Air?)
-
I see that most of the states are lacking in imagination!
Our national drink would probably be glögg. Yummy! =D
-
Cider for my County/Region, I guess.

Oooo, Cider's good stuff, too. Nothing like some hot apple cider on a crisp fall night...

Huh, never tried that. I prefer mine dry and ice cold. Fortunatly it seems as if all the nasty, alco-pop like ciders seems to be pushed out by the real stuff over here. Heck, I got my brother over to drinking real cider instead of the icky-sweet girly stuff .
-
Mt friend is a big fan of Cheddar Valley, and the various Thatcher's Ciders.

Never tried. Tried Strongbow's. Didn't like. Tried Hardcore. Meh. Tried a few other English brands that I don't remember much of, but I guess my opinion of it was favourable, since the bottle got emptied. I usually buy Kivik's Pear Cider, or occasionally their apple cider. Good stuff. I've wanted to try more brands though. I've heard much good about the French brands.
-
Strongbow, Blackthorn, Woodpecker et al are not proper cider, so I can see why you wouldn't have liked it.
My friend avoids them all if possible, though he will settle for Blackthorn if he needs to.

What's up with all the durn furriners taken over this thread aobut good ol' USA beverages ?!?!?!
;/ =D
-
Yeah, they don't even have states. Losers! :P

Well, we HAD to. Look at that list. Milk, milk, milk, tea, water, milk, milk, whiskey, milk, milk. If it weren't for the whiskey, you'd think it had been chosen by the temperance movement .
-
Hush now, or I'll post a picture of my teeth and gums!

Hush now, or I'll post a picture of my teeth and gums!
I believe there are UN treaties against doing that!
-
Ours is tomato juice. I have no idea why. I would've guessed warm lard.
-
Surprising that Illinois doesn't have one. I would have bet that would have been sold already.
-
Nothing listed for Texas but if you watched what people were buying in the stores, you would think it is light beer, gag. Who drinks that pi$$ water.....be a man, drink real beer......chris3
-
Nevada, none, but if there was, it would be cocktail. =D
-
It's surprising that Texas, my adopted home, doesn't have a state beverage, though I agree with coppertales it would probably be Bud Light. It's even more surprising that my birth state, Alabama, home of many counties still dry by law, chose a darn fine sipping whiskey.
