I don't know why this caught my attention. Maybe the WTF exclamation after I read the title. Or the aspect of "You can't make this *expletive deleted*it up".
Pornographic Magazine for the Blind Is Launched

A pornographic magazine for the blind has been launched - complete with saucy text and raised pictures of naked men and women.
The book called "Tactile Minds" is the brainchild of Canadian Lisa Murphy and is designed to be "enjoyed" by the blind and visually impaired. It's on sale for just over $200.
Among the 17 raised images include a naked woman in a "disco pose," a woman with "perfect breasts" and a "male love robot."
Murphy said she made the book after realizing that the "blind have been left out in a culture saturated with sexual images."
"There are no books of tactile pictures of nudes for adults," she said. "We're breaking new ground."
Between 1970 and 1985 Playboy printed copies of its famous magazine in Braille - but without raised pictures.

Okay, don't google it. You don't want to. I shouldn't have. Basically all of those "tactile images" are what a horny, drug-addicted lower IQ person would make out of clay. They're... horrifying.

curiosity got the better of me, regardless of PTK's warning. you'd have to try pretty hard to make images as bad as those.

Lisa Murphy, author of the book, is described in other articles as an "artist". That should explain everything you need to know...

One thing that strikes me is that the blind were free from sexism and the sexual objectification of others, at least visually.
Now.. not so much. =(
