Rather than direct any more traffic to the site he's talking about, here's a shot of their front page:

Keep your camera ready, and document the heck out of anyone who seems to be doing this. The best defense against this kind of tactic is good, solid evidence.

The worst part about it is they feel the need to create drama where there is no drama.
They can't refute any of what's being said, so the best they can come up with is to try and make the tea party look bad by creating fake "evidence".
How very democratic of them.

I've noticed that (here in Bozeman, MT at least) MANY Tea Party members are democrats (including my roommate). I think that this anti-TP campaign is simply aimed at the hateful portion of the democrats, the rather disgusting folks who are disgusting to ordinary people on both sides, mind you.
Guaranteed that this anti-TP place is NOT a "nationwide network of Democrats, Republicans, and Independents" - such a group wouldn't go on to call Tea Party-ers a "loose affiliation of racists, homophobes, and morons", nor would they call it a "fake grass-roots movement" if they wished to retain any credibility.
That in mind, I suspect two possibilities - one, that this was started by a very disgusting democrat as an honest attempt to discredit the TP, or, two, the possibility I find much more likely... that this group was started by a pro-TP individual to get pity and gain support that way. It's... odd to think that way, but hey, politics are like that.

The thing that worries me is the media. They know about this stuff just like we do, but they're conspicuously ignoring it.
When the time comes, they'll look straight into the cameras and lie about it, claiming these guys and their behaviors are mainstream Tea Party.

I don't think it is a new tactic at all, and is likely evidence the TEA party thing is working. The only surprising thing (relatively) is how out in the open the Lefties have become.

The (somewhat) amusing part of all this is that they have to "infiltrate" Tea Party protests to make them look bad. Go to the Protest Warrior website, and you find that what they want to do to Tea parties, they do to themselves all the time as part of their normal protests (i.e., misspelled protest signs, wild claims, sit ins, "citizens arrests", etc.). I think it's the fact that Tea party protests are normal get-togethers, versus things like "peace protests", that never seem to be normal, that just drives these people crazy.

Interesting. The web site in question is now blank except for a Cafe Press link (they're selling anti-Tea Party T-shirts).

A middle school teacher in Oregon who announced his intention "to dismantle and demolish the Tea Party" on his "Crash the Tea Party" Web site is under investigation by his state's Teacher Standards & Practices Commission.
The investigation by Oregon's teacher licensing agency comes in response to a public outcry over Jason Levin's public statements that he'll do anything short of throwing rocks to bring down the Tea Party.

I think the few tea partiers that are uninformed heels ruin it for the majority. I'd much rather counter them with facts or arguments, not underhanded methods like this.
