Congressman McClintock (R-CA) has a few choice words for Mexican President Calderon after the latter criticized Arizona's immigration law and called for a ban on "assault weapons."
-
That was a good slap at Calderon. Classy, too.
-
I really wanted him to win the GOP Governor primary against Arnold.
-
I've voted for him when given the chance. Good man. Also very good on the Second Amendment.

A little OT: Jay Leno had this to say about Calderon:
At the White House state dinner, Mexican President Calderon said that he and President Obama have a lot in common. They’re both presidents of beautiful countries, they’re both left-handed, and they both preside over 40 million Mexican people.

Same here. Took a lot of heat for it from other CA Republicans during the last Gubernatorial elections. Arnold was SO the better choice... ;/
McClintock is simply the most straightforward and honest politician that I have ever known.

I'm always pulling for Tom McClintock to rescue California. California isn't smart enough, though.

As far as the Calderon speech . . . local paper had a story that the first 4 (out of 7 1/2) rows of GOP seats were empty, as the GOP legislators boycotted the speech.
"Someone" had the seats filled with legislative pages so as not to embarass Calderon, Pelosi, et. al.

That was purdy.

Now there's a Cali policritter I can support.
