I am on hold with MS Support at the moment for a customer's server issue. The hold music is Mariachi and it making my brain hurt.
Sadly, this might be an improvement over what it used to be.

You get music? I'm jealous.
I was on hold with SUN Oracle last week, and all I got was:
"Your call is important to us! It will be answered in the order it was received. THANK YOU FOR BEING A ORACLE CUSTOMER!
[10 seconds of faceless music]
repeat

I think I've found a new service for IT geeks.
Fake hold music and announcements for various common technology companies.
Boss comes up, and you have...
We're sorry, your call is very important to us here at Microsoft/Oracle/Dell/SAP/AT&T/HP/Apple, please stay on the line, and your call will be answered in the order it was received.
...on your speaker-phone, and you just throw up your hands in disgust as if to say "What can I do?" And the boss gives you a sympathetic look =| and walks away.
Then you can flip back over to surfing APS through your SSH super-secret proxy firewall connection.

Screw that, I run the content filtering at the office. No super secret proxy/etc needed!

So do I, so it's important I set a "good example"... =D
My company is pretty forgiving though, there's a few net-addicts who've been counseled three times. Instead of termination they just tell me to block port 80 for that person on the firewall.
