Some Russian college women put together a calendar with photos of them in "fancy underwear" as a gift to Putin for his 58th birthday.
I wonder if Obama is now trying to have one done for him (Bill Clinton probably just gets autographed Rigid Tool calendars each year).

He looks cool, he seems neat, but... correct me if I'm wrong here, Putin tramples even basic human rights on a casual basis.

Believe what you will. I will simply say this - trying to compare the daily violations of rights here versus what goes on in Russia daily is akin to saying that not getting the brand of bottled water you want is the same as getting no water at all. =|

The scuttlebutt from local riders who have had the opportunity to ride with Bush is that he's a pretty good mountain biker, certainly no limpwristed wannabe using a bike as a prop.

Agreed, but he is otherwise just a bad ass. To geek out for a sec.. he is sort of like Ba'al in Stargate SG-1. Massive bad guy but you can't help but like him.
