So I joined OFA a while back, just for entertainment value. They send me little annoucements of what's going on in the DemocRAT party, invites to their gatherings, requests for volunteers and money. That kind of stuff.
Well, recently they sent a notice asking for OFA members to pledge to vote. So, I clicked the little button to pledge. That brought up a form asking for my reason for making sure I vote. I put in something about getting the dems out of office and getting things right again. I forget the exact words, but I didn't use profanity. I recall being generally just honest and forthright about my reasons.
So, yesterday, they emailed this:
(My Name) --
Not long ago, you made a commitment to vote in this election.
When you signed up, you wrote that you were choosing to cast a ballot because:
Need to keep Dems in office, and keep the Repugs/Party of NO out of office.
The time has come to make good on that commitment. Think about when you'll cast your vote and how you'll get there.

They fibbed a bit. So today they sent this correction:

Yesterday, we sent an email to those who committed to vote with Organizing for America.
Because of a technical error, a small group of individuals received the wrong reason for their commitment. We're sorry for that mistake.
When you signed up, you wrote that you were choosing to cast a ballot because:
I'm voting because I want to move America in the right direction.

They want to make you think about what you're going to do tomorrow, so that you end up planning out your day. You're more likely to remember to vote, that way. Or it will help you realize that you need to arrange for a ride to the polls, or something.
Or maybe, given that last line, they want to see if you're available for a brainwashing voter education session before you vote?
