Who'd a thunk it with a name like that?  And wouldn't you want lead to shield you from the toxic radiation?

From the article, it sounds like you wouldn't need a lead shield; there's plenty enough in the candy itself.   :facepalm:

I was at a friend's house tonight, and happened to mention this. Sure enough, their daughter had a half-eaten "barrel" of the Toxic Waste candy.

Don't blame the manufacturer, they just got confused when they saw the elemental symbol and thought it was peanut butter.
