Beautiful voice, beautiful body, beautiful land.
That's Chloe Agnew of Celtic Woman, btw.

-
I'm considering getting tickets for one of their Tx. shows.
-
Wow, the acoustics are very good on that hill......
-
Meh. Technically perfect covers of classic songs. The stuff of PBS fund drives.
And now for something completely different from Hayley:

Celtic Woman is an interesting group ....
Loved "The Voice." That was evocative.

Beautiful body? Chloe?
I love Celtic Woman and I grant that Chloe has a lovely voice ... but she's fat.

Sorry, in my opinion, this is the single best version of Amazing Grace.
I just about wore out the vinyl on my dad's LP of this....

(turn the volume up, close your eyes, and just soak it in)

And a man in the desert would be critical of a glass of water?
Fat? Nay, curvy. I find her insanely attractive.

1:14. 2:15. 2:54 Wow. Chills. Thanks for that.
Maybe it's the vocals sung by beautiful women that gets me, then.

I had no idea Hayley Westenra was with Celtic Woman now, I'd only heard her solo stuff. Thanks for linking. Here's one of her better solo numbers, Across the Universe of Time. I listened to this a lot after I got back from Iraq hoping it'd help me sleep. Norah Jones and Enya too for that matter.

Never have liked Celtic Woman ever since I saw a concert of theirs on PBS that included the lyrics "we are one world"
I listened to one of their CDs once, it seemed like pseudo-celtic mumbo jumbo.
Flogging Molly, now...

Loreena McKennit pays tribute the Alfred Noyes' "The Highwayman"
Another one of those you can really enjoy sitting back with your (wet?) eyes closed.

If you want to read along (she skips stanza IV of Part one): http://www.potw.org/archive/potw85.html

"And the banxzhies (how it sounded in the song) scream their vengeance"
geh. meep. blubber...
I posted that on Facebook. Too beautiful to not recognize.
Wow.

I find myself listening to this more and more.
-
She really does have a lovely voice, doesn't she?
-
She had me when I heard her do "Scarborough Fair". But to hear her do a bit of music I am unfamiliar with and make it so...unforgettable. Thanks for that link, Balog, it's quickly becoming a favorite tune...
-

Listening right now. Magnificent.
-
First, thanks for introducing me to Hayley Westenra. Wow. Now if she was only a red head...(running from my blonde wife) =D
While we are talking about Celtic songs, I'll offer one up to Balog:

When it's night, and I can't sleep, and I"m thinking about things in the past that bring the spirits out of the shadows of my mind, I find this song, and a glass of vodka straight up on ice, help get me through to the dawn...

Listening once again. This tune by Hayley just melts the stress right off of me. Thanks,... again.

Some of us prefer a woman with some meat on her bones =D
Dashing off to itunes now...

See? See? See? I'm not the only guy who likes curvy women.
Cue the annual (or maybe it's periodic) "Curvy .vs. uhh...otherwise" argument.

Not necessarily Rubenesque... I can't explain it.
