Check out this artist's work. He is creating space images using a very interesting technique. I wonder how he ever came up with the idea that it would work?

Did not click the link.
He's the guy who uses torn newspaper, and simple circular objects like cups, spray cans, and a toothbrush speckles flicked with a finger to make stars. And in about 10 minutes he has a really cool picture that looks like it should be a 1970's Pink Floyd album cover?
ETA: Yes, it was that guy. Very cool.

I hate to be that guy, but there's probably a guy doing that on a street corner in every major city I've been to.
There's one in San antonio near the alamo, there's a guy in Austin that does it on 6th street, there was a guy I saw in LA doing it, etc...
It's still really cool, and I can't do it. =)

More to my liking. Don Dixon:

I've got a "collection" of his on one of my drives and I frequently use them for wallpaper.
One of my favorites is "First Rain," which is part of three showing the transition from raw dry landscape to the lakes and oceans long after that "first rain."'

I've seen this in Mexico all over the place. I've got a couple pictures of various things done with this technique. Very cool to watch.

It's a a sideshow technique, that with practice, has predictable results
Like wow man, can you paint one on my van, dude?

I'd like to see you make the Rumple Mintz barbarian woman riding the polar bear with her armor and sword using this technique. Hell, even just a bikini-Indian princess and a three-wolf moon. =)

Cut me some slack there, Harold, I'd never seen this technique before. Maybe I need to get out more...sigh.

How about an Asia album cover.
