Yes, Mossberg came out with yet another AR15.
No, I made up the parts about bolt action, goose gun, 32" bbl, and underslung shotgun.
But, somehow I think Mossberg would be the company to do that. And really, you can't say, "That's too stupid to be true" after Taurus's Judge and Mossberg's own flip-ta-boomer shotgun/weed whacker handle dealie.

Am I the only one getting sick of Mossberg's slide into stupidity, what with "chainsaw grips" and .50BMG brakes on .22s, and the ugly as hell "tactical plinkster"?
What happened to the Mossberg that produced practical, simple firearms such as the 500/590 shotguns, the 930SPX, and the Mossberg ATR rifles (affordable, no frills hunting rifles)?

Removing the forward assist is a "feature?"
Wow.
The AR for the FUD demographic, with all the safe buzzwords for them to feel like they're being responsible, while giving them the EBR anyways.

Well, I do see very little real need for a forward assist, but it also hurts nothing to have it. You may note, however, that the forward assist is missing on very basic or bargain basement priced rifles from various makers...

It is to me.

I wish I still had my bolt action goose gun.
