And hopefully the Democrat lawmaker is hounded and voted out of office by his opponent in the next election.

Anti 1A bias as a campaign theme and ride it to victory.

Complains... and threatens to have university funding pulled in a non too subtle way.

I think the story is more in the big gov bullying.  The high strung nature and double standards are just accentuate the scene.
