OK, I know that my taste are more old fashioned than most, but is there really so much demand for tactical gizmos that we need to put quad rails on a SxS shotgun? I’ll bet somebody could make a fortune selling rail mount rear view mirrors so you can “check six” with one eye while the other co-witnesses the target.

I can't recall the brand, but my local gun shop had a "tactical" SxS on display.
Yes, it had Picatinny rails on it, and an AR-style stock and grip.

Go for it.

If you don't have a rail on every available inch of your gun, you're not high speed/low drag.

Umm, ummm, ummm. Oh, who made that????
Stoeger has a railed side by side 12 gauge. http://www.stoegerindustries.com/firearms/stoeger_double_defense.php (http://www.stoegerindustries.com/firearms/stoeger_double_defense.php). The single trigger I'm not too keen on, as that is the main issue with my (one and only shotgun, legacy) AYA Matador. Every n-th time, pull one trigger, both barrels go boom. Stout recoil.
-
Four rails. Red dot, light, laser and, umm. pistol bayonet. Or, yeah, rear view mirror.

No, green daylight laser, red night laser, white light, IR light.
Solid Snake takes his coach guns seriously.

I just wish they'd put extractors on the damn things. Far more useful than rails, and it's not like you're buying those to use in a CAS match anyway...
-
What are you supposed to do with the shells in CAS?
I thought you had to put them over the eyes of the dummy posed as the "dead bartender", then spit into the spittoon or something.
-
Okay, I really want to see someone mount rails on a side by side shot gun and mount Binoculars on it. That would be the coolest! (I mean funniest)
Maybe just put a scope over each barrel. That way you can individually sight in each barrel. =D

If they were hardcore it would be 2 aimpoints.

Extractors are CAS legal. Ejectors are not, which is what I think you meant to say.
What are you supposed to do with the shells in CAS?
Take the empty ones out, put full ones in, make gun go boom boom. If you get your chambers nice and smooth you can just dump them out of the chambers real quick. Example: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2-Go8gGzF90

Yeah, I meant ejectors. Teach me to post while distracted...

I am guessing the difference is whether or not the spent hull flies out of the gun?
-
Bipod, I want a bipod.

Yep. Extractors slide the shell a bit out of the chamber. Ejectors shoot them into your face.

Your doing it wrong. Ejectors shoot them into the face of the shooter to the right of you >:D

That boomstick must be painted black.

It seems odd to have twice as many rails as loaded rounds.....
