I think the "Strings" name is to give him a bluesier countenance among his biker friends. This despite that he: a) can't play guitar (not that I know of); b) wouldn't know Jelly Roll Morton from a jelly doughnut; and c) is about as white as rice.
Other than that, I think the new name fits. :neener:

Actually, I got it as a road name after forming a BACA chapter. And, despite Monkeyface's disparagement, I DO play guitar... and mandolin... and bouzouki... and harp...

I noticed that Hunter Rose changed his name to Strings right about the time he became chapter president of BACA. I guess the other members were embarrassed when somebody would ask them what their president's name was.

BACA member: "Hunter Rose."
