Title: New media Hit Piece on Guns . . .
Post by: HankB on February 09, 2012, 02:24:25 PM
. . . from NBC/MSNBC of course.

http://today.msnbc.msn.com/id/46316454/ns/today-today_rossen_reports/

They USED THE INTERNET to find people selling guns, and then set up FTF meetings where they bought police grade pistols, semiautomatic assault rifles, even a .50 BMG rifle which is POWERFUL ENOUGH TO SHOOT DOWN AIRCRAFT!!

This is a loophole that they seem to be horrified to see - even TERRORISTS could buy a gun this way! Horrors!

And so it begins again . . .  ;/

Somebody should tell them about Craigslist, where you can find ads for cars and trucks, go buy the car or truck with cash, and then go out and mow down people on the street!

We need to do something about this internet. First it's prostitutes on Craigslist, and now killing machines all over the internet.

The prostitutes at the news networks don;t like the competition.

And it’s happening nationwide. In New York, Mayor Michael Bloomberg led another investigation, buying guns in 14 states, even after the buyers said they couldn’t pass a background check.

Which in of itself wasn't legal but that isn't mentioned and Bloomberg is getting away with it.

craigslist no longer has escort ads, way back when I used to post everywhere I could that they were pimping kids out but zealously keeping any ad for guns off their website.

It took many murders and sex slavery and child trafficking for them to stop - but you can still get your escorts on backpages.com, I don't like online prostitution because due to its nonlegal status its to easy to abuse children and trafficking/slavery... backpages, like craigslist, is owned /operated by liberals, but at least backpages doesn't discriminate against gun owners.

I wish the media would point out that child rapist/killers/kidnappers like Richard Allen Davis hardly ever used a gun but always used a car in his pre 3 strikes crime sprees, yet he was allowed to legally own cars and drive them.

We allow dangerous felons to legally buy highly explosive chemicals ( gas )

WARNING - link contains extremely NSFW graphic

I guess that technically you could say that's not an ad for an "escort" but it's pretty typical of the stuff being posted on Craigslist - at least the Craigslists for Virginia.

stay safe.

We were watching from nearby vans as our buyers paid cash for a tactical assault rifle modified to use bullets for an AK-47,

What the hell does this even mean?

I'm guessing it was an AR pattern rifle chambered in 7.62x39?   is there even such a critter?

That's about the only thing I can think of....

I've seen ads for 7.62x39 ARs before. I'd guess there's probably not much the AR *HASN'T* been chambered in, myself.

They had an SKS on the table in the picture, maybe they meant an SKS modified to take AK mags

It's MSNBC after all

Teh Panics!

I confess to have actually done this, at least once.  Which is what got me to East Dubuque, IL, wandering around looking at decrepit strip joints waiting for the gun shop to open.  Somehow I doubt my little Star is going to ever do much more than be a cool toy in my safe.

Some say it’s a major loophole in the law. At gun stores, you have to get a background check before you can buy a weapon. But online in most states, anyone from law-abiding citizens to dangerous criminals – even terrorists – can get just about any weapon they want, no questions asked.
And can you believe that this has been going on for CENTURIES!!!!  Oh, the Horrors!!

What really is the kicker all the money spent, wonder where it came from, and they turned the firearms over to the police dept for destruction.

Be curious how many don't get destroyed.

Of all the slime bag media types, Jeff Rossen is about my least favorite...beaten only by Keith Morrison maybe.

As for the eight guns we bought, we turned them over the the Phoenix police department... where they will be destroyed.

I wonder if the cops get to as the reporters ahead of time to purchase certain guns for the cops to "destroy"?.... ;)

I guess Jeff Rossen doesn't care much about personal property rights...
If he had any integrity at all he'd be focusing his angst on Holder and the batfeces' gun running operation.

You haven't been paying attention - it's the mission of the 3 major networks (and NBC/MSNBC in particular) to cover for the BHO administration . . .

They're advocates, not journalists.
