"Howey/DePauw University Poll: Mourdock 48, Lugar 38."
Ouch. Establishment RINO in mid-auger. Looks like "Lugar-Mentum" is in the wrong direction...

Excellent.

Reminds me of this article from Politico:
http://www.politico.com/blogs/glennthrush/0111/Lugar_pushes_to_renew_assault_weapons_ban.html
Sixteen months, later, it's looking as if Lugar's days as a U.S. Senator are numbered.
Good. You Hoosiers better get out and vote - don't disappoint the rest of us by letting this RINO continue.
-
A RINO senator? He'll be alright. He'll probably be the GOP pres. candidate in 4 years.
-
Gov. Mitch Daniels has done some commercials supporting Lugar.
My favorite line out of the whole thing: "I don't support Senator Lugar for what he has done, but what he can do."
-
When do they vote?
How is Mourdock polling against whoever he will face in the general election?

That really sounds like what people were saying about Obama.
Personally I don't support Dick Lugar for what he has done and I'm afraid of what he CAN do when he doesn't care about re-election.

8 May 2012, although my parents have already voted absentee for Mourdock..

They don't call him "Obama's favorite republican" for nothing.

Yeah, no kidding, and when the best he can get an ally to do is say "Well, his record sucks, but he can do better," it's pretty sad.
He's running some of the most over-the-top campaign commercials, barely stopping short of accusing Mourdock of raping minority babies at his Klan meetings.
My boss has relationships with all kinds of Republican politicians throughout the state. Lugar's campaign manager called us up to see what we could do for them once Mourdock started to gain on him. I came within a whisker of being assigned to helping Lugar out. I'm honestly not sure how I would have handled that.

Well, it looks like we know now. Mourdock by 60:40 or better. Yay!
