I thought this was hilarious. I don't know exactly where it originated, but somebody started some website or blog or something stating that "several reliable sources that I can't name" have told him that Harry Reid is a pedophile. Googling the term now shows over 2 million hits. I'm thinking old Harry might now be regretting the little rumor that he started.

Somebody* called a popular radio show yesterday, and said he had heard that Harry Reid was a pedophile rapist - he rapes pedophiles. I thought that was even funnier.
*Or it may have been someone in the studio pretending to be a caller. Funny, either way.

Well, sure! And James Earl Ray was hired by MLKJr. so he might die a martyr rather than in ignominy from an STD acquired from a partner not his wife ( ♂?, ♀?.) The real conspiracy in the assassination concealed the autopsy results.

Are you sure the "rapist" part wasn't just a clarification of pedophile -- he rapes little boys instead of just leering at them or collecting kiddie porno like a lesser pedophile.

No, it was specifically explained the way I put it. The pedophilia rumors about Reid are being spread to make a point about Reid's own rumor-mongering.

I understand that. I didn't hear the show, and without the additional information my theory is more plausible. But if there was an explanation, then I'm probably mistaken. (or I'm right, and the caller was just spreading misinformation) ;) Carry on.

It just all depends on how you look at some things..
Judy Wallman, a professional genealogy researcher in southern California, was doing some personal work on her own family tree.. She discovered that Senator Harry Reid's great-great uncle, Remus Reid, was hanged for horse stealing and train robbery in Montana in 1889. Both Judy and Harry Reid share this common ancestor.
The only known photograph of Remus shows him standing on the gallows in Montana territory:

On the back of the picture Judy obtained during her research is this inscription: 'Remus Reid, horse thief, sent to Montana Territorial Prison 1885, escaped 1887, robbed the Montana Flyer six times. Caught by Pinkerton detectives, convicted and hanged in 1889.'
So Judy recently e-mailed Senator Harry Reid for information about their great-great uncle.

All he has to do is provide evidence over the last 10 years that he is NOT a Pedophile. It should be easy for him to prove he is not. He just needs to release the evidence. =D

In regard to Harry Reid's alleged wrongdoing, remember, it's not the quality of the evidence that's important, it's the seriousness of the charges. (Haven't we heard something along those lines from the Dems before?)
Speaking of which, I heard from one of the talking heads on TV that unnamed sources were saying that Harry Reid became a millionaire while in Congress thanks to gambling and prostitution . . . someone should look into that and Harry needs to prove it's not true.

I suspect Hairy Reid had some help in accumulating his million(s). I think he needs to explain how that was accomplished. Now we know what model Obama used to make his statements that nobody can be successful without help.
Hairy is doing this when he is not up for re-election. If only the people could remember the stunts their Senator has been involved in? I suspect Reid will be retiring after this current term is served since he had a serious challenge to his re-election the last time.
Reid has a little voice telling him these things about Romney but he can't own up to the source because it came from within.

I'm quite certain there is something in Romney's tax returns that is embarassing, at least to the mind of the Democrats. I'm betting it's that he didn't have any income for some years and only paid the capital gains tax.
I'm also quite certain that many Democrats have already seen Romney's tax returns, gained illegally from the IRS. They are screaming about Romney releasing them because they don't want to admit they already have them illegally. This is EXACTLY Obama's (more specifically, his campaigns') method of operation. Get your hands on legally sealed and private information and "leak" it to the press.
Whether Romeny releases his taxes or not, the Democrats will release them. They just want to do it without being so blatantly criminal.

No, but the American people may not reward a political party who does something so blatantly criminal. They are afraid because they aren't sure they can control the response of the American people, not the Justice Department.
If they get desperate enough, they will roll the dice, though.

Reid is symptomatic. That he can retain his position as head of the Senate after such unsubstantiated charges tells us just how sick that body is and how great is the task that lies ahead of us. America doesn't need an Election, it needs an exorcism.
