Back in 2007 the Dallas Cowboys bid on the domain name cowboys.com and won. They didn't pay due to a "internal miscommunication." The Cowboys only wanted to pay $275 not the $275,000 that won the domain name. The domain name sat for several years and is now a gay dating website.

Fortunately, Wisconsinites are
sometimes not that stupid, packers.com is still green bay. Thank god, that would also be at risk for a gay dating site. (along with buccaneers, chargers, raiders, rams, giants, bears, etc)
