Okay Syria is in the middle of a 21 month long Civil War. Tens of thousands have been killed, many more have been injured while hundreds of thousands have fled.
Meanwhile some J-school D student puts this facepalmer in the above story.
The operation risks inflaming already raw sectarian tensions
Gee, ya think? Given that this is basically a Sunni vs. Shi'ite War (With Christians and other staying the hell out of it), I don't think "sectarian tensions" could get any more "raw".
